Smiths of Loughton offer this Ballarini Tanaro knife block set. The block is made from elegant, dark wood and comes with five knives and a pair of all-purpose kitchen scissors. It is perfect for your kitchen or as a premium gift for amateur and professional chefs. The knife set includes a chef’s knife (20 cm blade), a bread knife (20 cm blade), a carving knife (16 cm blade), a utility knife (13 cm blade), a larding and garnishing knife (9 cm blade) and a pair of all-purpose kitchen scissors. All the knives are dishwasher-safe – although we recommend gently cleaning them by hand. The incredible sharpness, cutting edge retention and corrosion resistance of the German stainless steel blades are testament to their high quality. The knives also feature stainless steel handles and look beautifully elegant. The matt surfaces of the sandblasted handles elegantly contrast against the polished surfaces of the bolsters and handle ends. Helping ensure that they retain their sharpness, the knife block also serves to protect the blades. It is also ideally suited as a safe place to store the scissors.
