Smiths Hardware was established in 1969, in Bishop’s Stortford, followed by a second store in Great Dunmow.

In 1984, Smiths Hardware opened in Loughton and in 1999 the store went through a massive transition from hardware retailer to kitchenware shop, with a fully working fitted kitchen where demonstrations are held. Please sign up to our newsletters for information regarding the next demonstration.

Smiths of Loughton Cookshop now trade exclusively from their Loughton store of approximately 4,000 square feet of retail space,with warehousing for their internet site www.smithsofloughton.com.

Smiths of Loughton Cookshop take pride in the quality and vast selection of products they have to offer for your kitchen and dining room, from cookware to tableware, kitchen knives to glassware. The store supplies over 40 brands including Villeroy and Boch,Thomas Rosenthal,Portmeirion,Leonardo glassware, Alessi,AMT Gastroguss pans, Robert Welch, Jamida homewares,Dunoon mugs,Elia cutlery,china and glass,Zwilling Henckel,Staub, Kitchen Craft, Dualit,MacKenzie-Childs, Bob Crooks hand blown glass, Kuhn Rikon, Henry Watson potteries, and many more.

Monday – Saturday 9.00 to 5.30pm.
In December Smiths of Loughton Cookshop opens on Sundays 11am to 4pm.
