ABOUT OUR SHOP
Smith’s Hardware was established in 1969, in Bishop’s Stortford by Peter and Jean Smith.
In 1984, Peter and Jean opened the Loughton branch of Smith’s Hardware and in 1999 the store went through a massive transition from Hardware retailer to Cookshop, with a fully working fitted kitchen from where demonstrations are held. Smiths of Loughton now trade exclusively from their Loughton store of approximately 4,000 square feet of retail space and is now run by Peter and Jean’s sons Michael and David, both of whom have a passion and enthusiasm for cooking and entertaining.
Smiths of Loughton take pride in the quality and vast selection of products they have to offer. The store supplies over 70 brands including Rosenthal, Villeroy & Boch, Alessi, LSA and Dualit.

Opening Times:
Monday – Saturday 9.30 to 5pm.
In December Smiths of Loughton opens on Sundays 11am to 4pm.
